The Apollo Theatre is run and staffed entirely by volunteers, as it has been throughout its 50-year history. 

The theatre itself is owned by a Charitable Trust, which is funded through income from the Apollo Players.

The theatre’s Executive Committee includes an Arts Manager, who is elected every three years with the remit to put together a season of plays for each year (September-August).
